Open seasonally from May-October, Peaceful Acres is a campground with cabins and seasonal sites. At the campsite, visitors will find a small lake, perfect for fishing, relaxing, and unwinding. Explore the many hiking trails, miles of lush forest, or take a swim in the indoor swimming facilities. Campers can head to the Rec Hall for a hangout spot, watch TV, or play some cards at the table.
Located just north of the junction of Routes 68 and 62, Asnacomet Pond is quite a popular place for visitors to icefish, and is one of the most popular trout ponds in central MA. Though the pond is stocked with trout each spring and fall, some fishers may also catch yellow perch, smallmouth bass, bluegills, and golden shiners. Visitors will find that the water is exceptionally clear with a transparency of about 25 feet. The unguarded beach has a boat ramp that is accessible in the spring and fall, allowing no more than 20 horsepower motors on the water.
